The Society maintains a collection of manuscripts, printed materials, photographs and maps relating to the history of the area.

Indexing
This collection is being indexed to allow faster retrieval of desired information. Such is the size of the collection that indexing is a never-ending task. A number of indexes are being made available on this web site. Check out the Indexes page.

Use of the Collection
The research centre is open to members of the Society, the general public, and to researchers. Written research requests are also accepted and are completed by volunteer researchers. A fee of $20.00 is imposed for each topic researched. This cost is for one hour of work and covers research of the resources listed above, and up to two A4 photocopies. To request research on your behalf, simply print out and complete the Research Request Form and forward to the Research Centre at the address provided with payment.
